97.5WOBN-FM runs on an"alternative" rock platform, which means that it plays music that fits within the college radio world. Although we are an alternative rock station, we play a lot of different genres. You can hear Owl City next to Coheed and Cambria next to Bruce Springsteen. Since we have a versatile playlist, it makes listening enjoyable. But not only do we have a mix of music, we also have a diverse set of radio DJs who rock it out with you every weekday. We report to the College Media Journalism (CMJ) group weekly. Our reports include our top five new record adds to the current rotation and our top 30 spins list (spins refers to how often we play a song on-air).
