This FM Grade School (K-12) radio station is licensed by the FCC to WEST IRONDEQUOIT CENTRAL SCHOOL DISTRICT in Rochester, New York.

WIRQ is the oldest high school music station in the country. We've been all over the dial in our 50 years, starting on 90.9 in1959. In the late 80's we moved to 93.3 Rock of the 60s to 90's "New Music".
