The Grand Street Community Radio Project (WCAA-LP, 107.3 FM – Albany, NY) is a project of Grand Street Community Arts, Inc. whose mission is to“Create Unity through the Arts and Educate on the Power of Community Activism.” This volunteer-based communication resource has been designed to give local artists, activists, neighbors and others a platform to perform, entertain, and inform the public, as well as to educate and encourage listeners to get involved in their own growth and improve their quality of life. Like GSCA, its primary focus is on the South End and all of Downtown Albany, including Arbor Hill. The station’s motto is, “The Voice.”
